Depleted Emergency Fund

It seem to be so hard to keep my emergency fund above 1,000. My goal is to have 5,000 by the end of the year but I losting my hope. I have to come up with another plan so that I can meet the goal. It think i am going to a slump. I still saving very well but it seam like i'm going backward instead of fowards I get to get excited about savings again.

    my goal is $4000 by the end of the year. Mine is slow going as well.

    our goal is $12k (3 months expenses) but we only have around $8 in there at the moment.

    Slow progress leads to more benefits than none at all! Don't get too down on yourself, everyone goes through ebbs and flows like this. Nobody has insurance of >always< being at the top of their game... just keep with it, and you will get there. Good luck!
