My car broke down this morning.

yea after dropping my dd off to the sitter buy car just went dead. I got the sitter son to jump it and it took me a few extra miles and I broke down again. So I just went ahead a dcalled a tow truck company. Which cost me $60 dollars and I didn't have cash on me and I had to transfer funds. They think its the alternator. Not sure how much that going to cost me. Well I'll be updating Thank GOD for the EM since I don't get paid until next week. You have to love the unexpected.

    Oh, you have my sympathies. A car acting up can be so nerve wracking.

    Sorry to hear it. This always sucks.
    We had the same issue and had to get alternator replaced last year (after ruining few batteries). It was about $400.

    These things happen sooner or later.

    Did you get your car fixed? I personally have a AAA membership for just this sort of situation. It has saved me a number of times from not having to pay a huge amount to get towed. The two truck drive will usually also give you a ride home. The regular membership is around $50 and the plus membership is about $120.
